Reading is something I have always had a healthy appetite for, and writing my own novels seemed like an unattainable dream. I hope whoever picks up my books finds joy and adventure within thier pages.
Set more than 1,000 years into our future, Ryker Temple is a 17-year-old boy- the middle of seven children. Taking the role of caregiver for his younger siblings he grows tired of the tedious and monotonous life that is homemaking. His parents, who run one of the last standing recycling plants on earth, give him grim news and inform him he must assume his caregiver role another year longer. Frustrated he sets out to find a more meaningful calling. Earth is desolate and non-compatible with life. Its resources have long since been used up, and a cloudy smog overcasts the day every waking hour. The Voyager Enterprises is offering a grand reward, gifted to the families of volunteers who join up to be a laborer on one of many voyages set across the Galaxy. Expeditions to bring home resources such as fuel from the depths of mines built on Venus, and cooling agents found on the surfaces of Pluto and Uranus. Upon signing up Rykers commanding officer has another voyage in mind; an Exodus. A voyage to a new world that shows resources promising for sustaining human life, the only question is- Are Ryker and his command the first to set foot on humanity’s new promise land? Or has someone already laid claim to its treasures…
Join Ryker temple again in his adventure across the universe; this time with a more sinister goal in mind. War, with extraterrestrial beings; but first Ryker must rally the troops. He, alongside his cohort Mavoy, train new recruits of young cadets sent lightyears across the stars to aid in humanity's attempt to claim the surface of Earth II. To establish themselves as it's dwellers. Meanwhile, Amber, Rykers former 'Jr. Commander' remains a captive. Residing deep underground on the Seduli's- our extraterrestrial foes- planet, a slave. Ryker must try to focus on his responsibilities, training up the new members of his team, while battling with the turmoil of guilt that continues eating away at him. Will Ryker succeed in his mission, or will Amber remain stranded, a slave to her captors?
